Giorgi Kikonishvili is Co-founder and board member of the region’s largest LGBTQI organisation Equality Movement; The founder of Muzame – a music collective curating the live performances of alternative/DIY artists and queer musicians in Tbilisi. Co- founder of Horoom Nights, Hydrash and Wings of Desire – prominent queer party and festival series in Georgia which takes place at underground techno club BASSIANI; Co-founder of Spectrum and House of ReconNEXTion - a creative collective of artists, researchers and publicists who study and elaborate the non-dominant cultural thoughts and practices. His works and collaborative initiatives in the fields of music, writing, civil activism and club culture interplay with each other to investigate, study and present the social and cultural issues from the non-dominant cultural perspectives.
