In her recent project Reading by Osmosis, Semâ Bekirovic selected works made by animals or the elements, such as wind and erosion; two football boots covered in a layer of moss, a pretty bird’s nest made with twigs, and coloured clothes hangers. Who is the artist, you might well ask? Is it the animals, such as the squid that went off with a GoPro camera?

On March 7, during Brandstof x Museumnacht010, Edo Dijksterhuis and Semâ Bekirovic will discuss her work, focusing on her booklaunch ‘Reading by Osmosis’, in which she gathers work by non-human ‘artists’ such as animals, wind, fire, seaweed, and time.
