Maurice van Es (1984) is a visual artist who works with photography. In 2013 he graduated from the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague with a book cassette containing seven different books titled Now Will Not Be With Us Forever, a project that focuses on the temporal dimensions intrinsic to the medium of photography: capturing a moment in time that will never come back. With his book service Rooms of Now he makes books out of houses in edition of one, just for the people who live in it.
His work has been exhibited in New York, Paris, London and Amsterdam and recently won the Portfolio Review at Dusseldorf Photo weekend.
