Piet Oudolf is a landscape designer, plantsman and author. He’s one of the pioneers of the “New Perennial” movement which calls for making gardens in symbiosis with nature. With hardly any formal training, he designs through passion and 45 year experience which is inspired by nature.

His practice is concerned with the cycle of perennials; “What it takes humans a lifetime to experience, a plant will experience in its own yearly life cycle. In that sense, gardening is a microcosm of life”. Oudolf’s work is internationally renowned in various countries including Sweden, Great Britain, Germany and the United States amongst others.
