In his own unique way, Koen Taselaar draws, sticks, cuts and prints patterns and signs full of suspense and energy. Words play an important role in this.

Highly active and productive, Koen Taselaar uses alternative printing techniques, is never afraid to experiment, ranging from wallpaper to a scribbled drawing, from a spray can to a quartet, from skateboard to a self-published magazine. He must be the hardest-working man in the business.

The piece by Taselaar in this exhibition is his only sculpture so far: a large steel construction from 2011. On one of its walls, Taselaar has created wallpaper with riso prints and small drawings. The oldest drawing dating back to 2008 is called “The Trendmanagers Mailforest”.
