Display of regulation documents

Frontex (Document 32004R2007) is a display of the Council Regulation (EC) 2007/2004, published on October 26, 2004. It was this particular document that led to the establishment of the European Agency for the Management of Operational Cooperation at the External Borders of the Member States of the European Union, now known as Frontex. By displaying the complete written regulation that created Frontex, Torenbosch aims to underline the politics of bureaucracy and policy making and the dehumanization of its bureaucratic language. Frontex (Document 32004R2007) is connected to a series of works that Torenbosch has been making about the European Union since 2011. *Please read a more extensive text about this work on the information sheet next to the work.
