Astrid Feringa is a Dutch filmmaker, artistic researcher and part-time lecturer at ArtEZ University of the Arts, currently based in-between Arnhem (NL) and Reykjavik (IS). Through her work, she mainly investigates the ways in which structural design of online platforms, digital technologies and mechanisms of distribution and documentation are used to create and reinforce social-political power structures. She completed her BA in Graphic Design from ArtEZ Arnhem in 2017, after which she graduated from the MA Non-Linear Narrative at the Royal Academy of Art (KABK, The Hague) in 2019.
