Marwa Arsanios is an artist, filmmaker and researcher who reconsiders politics of the mid-twentieth century from a contemporary perspective, with a particular focus on gender relations, urbanism and industrialization. She approaches research collaboratively and seeks to work across disciplines.

Her works have been presented in various solo and group exhibitions at the 11th Berlin Biennial, (2020), the Sharjah Biennial 14 (2019), Beirut Art Center (2017), Hammer Museum - Los Angeles (2016), and Witte de With - Rotterdam (2016) amongst others. Her work is part of international collections such as Walker Art Center (Minneapolis), SF MOMA (San Francisco), Barjeel Art Foundation (Sharjah), Lewben Art Foundation (Vilnius), and Kadist (Paris).
