Marthe Ramm Fortun's performances present themselves through recited, site-specific texts and ephemeral sculptural boundaries. There are always several languages at play-- the linguistic and the poetic; the sculptural and the bodily-- interwoven and deliberate, they inscribe closed off institutional spaces with persistent and poetic feminisms. On a lawn of spring flowers in-between the Medieval cast iron fences of access and risk, Fortun presents a new work within the exhibition context of De Stad, de stad.
