Catalogue sparkling like the surface of the ocean at night

Sarah Pichlkostner will place her installation in Garage Rotterdam at the moment when all the other works have been given their places. She leaves subtle traces behind on a location’s smooth floors and white walls. Pichlkostner uses a lot of glass in her installations which she adjusts perfectly to suit the location. Small viewing-holes that provide a framework within a location; you look right through while at the same time reflecting your own face. Pichlkostner does not portray a deep ocean, with her you don’t have to find your way on a dark night; instead her work portrays the always timely and ever-changing shimmering on water.
