Jeroen Jongeleen is an adventurous artist. He is always searching for unexpected roads to explore city landscapes. As a contemporary ‘situationist international’, he makes so-called Dérives. There is no purpose to these nocturnal wanderings other than to experience the influence our environment has on our consciousness and our imagination. In recent years Jongeleen's wanderings have become increasingly intense, while the traces he leaves behind have become increasingly temporary.
