In A Bottle to the ocean time stands still; the sand in the hour glass stops. This sand in the hour glass comes from Tanger and Lampedusa. Africa and Europe: two continents with a sea in between. By putting the sand from the two continents together in the hour glass, it is filled with a utopian land, a shared planet earth free of anyone claiming ownership of the land.
