At first sight this hyper-realistic drawing seems to display an everyday scene of two loiterers with inflatable ‘alien’ dummies. It is only later that one notices how the face of one of the boys disappears in a flash of light, while one of the aliens (wounded?) is lying on the ground and the other shoots off skywards. What forces are involved here, and who is behind them?
